Sightseeing Spot in This Area

Nanjo City, which is the setting of the work, is a city located on the east coast of the southern part of the main island of Okinawa. Not only is the city surrounded by beautiful nature, but you can enjoy valuable cultural heritage such as the world heritage sites "Sefa Utaki", and "Gusuku" (a castle used during the Ryukyu Kingdom era), and "Agari Umaai", (sacred place pilgrimage ceremony). Also, because it faces the Pacific Ocean and Nakagusuku Bay, you can see beautiful sceneries when you climb the hill. Among them, Cape Chinen Park is located on a cape that looks like it is protruding into the sea, and it is a spectacular spot where you can see the Pacific Ocean, Kudaka Island and Komaka Island up close.
