Himi City Shiokaze Gallery （Fujiko Fujio Ⓐ Art Collection）
This gallery exhibits the originals and reproductions of works by the master of Japanese comics, Fujiko Fujio Ⓐ, who was born in Himi, Toyama Prefecture. Masterpieces such as Ninja Hattori-kun, Kaibutsu-kun, as well as illustrations of Himi, can be found here. Visitors can enjoy the various exhibits available, such as the "Manga Library" with around 1000 comic books by the master; the "Digital Manga Screen" which lets you experience what it is like to be part of a manga world; and a reproduction of Room 14 in Tokiwa-so, where master Fujiko Fujio Ⓐ once lived. Moreover, the gallery also sells goods that are available exclusively there.

Himi, Toyama Prefecture, is a city with attractive views of the majestic Tateyama Mountain Range, at the foot of which lies the abundant fishing grounds of Toyama Bay. Throughout the shopping streets of Himimachi and Chuomachi districts, you will find characters created by Fujiko Fujio Ⓐ. Kozenji Temple, a renowned ancient temple with a history of almost 700 years, and affiliated with the Maeda Family of the Kaga Domain, is also known for being the birthplace of the manga master. In the city, visitors can get to enjoy very fresh seafood and Japanese Black beef, "Himigyu," and more.
