Sightseeing Spot in This Area

Suginami City is the stage of many anime, as it is known for being the area with the most anime production studios. At Kamiigusa, home of the Sunrise anime production company's headquarters, not only is there a large bronze statue of Gundam (as pictured) outside its train station, you can also find various Gundam-related graffiti throughout its shopping streets. In addition, in the area around Ogikubo Station -- the station closest to the TOKYO POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY SUGINAMI Animation Museum -- is a "ramen battleground", known for being crowded with ramen lovers looking for the best ramen in town.
