The Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum

Osamu Tezuka, known as the “God of Manga”, once lived in Takarazuka for about twenty years, between the ages of 5 to 24 years old. In his honor, the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum was established in the city in 1994. This anime-manga museum is a world of Tezuka’s works, where characters such as Astro Boy and Sapphire from The Princess Knight would be happy to meet you. Popular sections include a library with around 2000 copies of Tezuka’s works available for reading, and the Anime Studio, in which you can have a taste of animation production. Come see, touch, and feel the world of Tezuka Osamu.
