『Let’s Make a Mug Too』Series

A youth story that depicts high school girls devoting themselves to ceramic art. Himeno Toyokawa moves to Tajimi City, the hometown of her deceased mother, with her father who quit his job and open a café, and attends her mother's alma mater.  She is invited by her classmate, Mika Kukuri, to tour the ceramic art club.  Himeno then learns her mother being a legendary potter, joins the pottery club, and gradually becomes fascinated by pottery. Eventually, Himeno starts to exhibit her piece in contest and begins to search for what she really wants to make. Based on the free comics distributed mainly in Tajimi city.

Sightseeing Spot in This Area

Tajimi City, situated in the southeastern part of Gifu Prefecture, is blessed with abundant nature and water resources, and has been a city where pottery culture has flourished since the Kofun period long ago. The pottery made around the city is called Mino ware, and the theme of "Let's Make a Mug Too" is this Mino ware. There are also many historical sightseeing spots in the city, and Kokeizan Eihoji Temple, which was visited by the voice actors of "Let's Make a Mug Too" in the live-action part, is a spectacular sight. "Kannon-do" and "Kaisando" built in the late Kamakura period are designated as national treasures, and the Chisen Kaiyu Garden is designated as a national scenic spot, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the seasons.
