Mitsuboshi Colors

Three elementary girls, Yui, Sacchan, and Kotoha, founded a secret organization of justice named “Colors.” They set up a hideout somewhere inside Ueno Park, one of the best known parks in Tokyo, and worked hard every day to maintain the peace of the Ueno area, sometimes meddling with a police officer at the small police station in front of the park’s zoo, sometimes enjoying fellowship with high school girls they knew, sometimes running around at “Ame Yoko,” a shopping avenue known to the whole nation, and sometimes ---. This is a comical and heart-warming story of the three girls and the people of Ueno.

Sightseeing Spot in This Area

"Ameya Yokocho" is a must-visit shopping street in Taito Ward, Tokyo. In this anime story, the mother of Sacchan (the heroine) runs a store there. Sacchan and her two friends often play around in the street. Commonly known as "Ame Yoko," the street runs between two railroad stations, Ueno and Okachimachi, featuring numerous stores and shops. Many of them are groceries, but there are clothing, miscellaneous articles, jewels, etc. as well. Especially, every year-end, the street gets packed with shoppers, which is a famous annual phenomenon of the area. Also, when you visit Ame Yoko, why not walk to neighboring Ueno Park as well, where Sacchan and friends have their secret shelter in the anime story?
