Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi

Having left his family-run publishing house for certain reasons, Onodera Ritsu moves to Marukawa Publishing. However, he was assigned to a division for which he had no interest nor experience -- the shoujo girls manga division, Emerald. Worse, he later finds out that the capable yet domineering editor-in-chief Takano Masamune is actually his "first love"...!? Thinking, "I can't stay in this work environment, I must quit!", but staying behind for love and wanting to try hard to build experience for work in order to become a self-sufficient manga editor... With the backdrop of a publishing house, this is a love story set in the publishing industry that is somewhat realistic!

Sightseeing Spot in This Area

The inspiration for Marukawa Publishing -- where protagonist Onodera Ritsu is employed at its Emerald division -- is from Kadokawa Shoten (now KADOKAWA Corporation), located in the Chiyoda Ward. The nearest train station, Iidabashi Station of the JR Chuo-Sobu Line, and nearby Metro stations appear in the anime (though due to ongoing construction, the exit depicted in the anime no longer exists).
