Laid-Back Camp

Nadeshiko Kagamihara, a high school girl, moved to Yamanashi from another prefecture, Shizuoka. After settling down in her new town, one day she visited Lake Motosu to enjoy fine views of Mt. Fuji. On her way to the lake, however, she grew exhausted and fell asleep. After waking up to find out the night had already set in, she met with Rin Shima, a girl who loves camping alone. Later, she found out Rin was her schoolmate. The camper kept the heroine, who experienced the fun of camping, safe. This encounter led Nadeshiko to join her school’s The Outdoor Exploration Club (“OEC”). There, she enjoyed camping with circle members like Chiaki Ohgaki, Aoi Inuyama, and others, while building up her friendship with Rin. This is a story of an outdoor girl living in Minobu.

Sightseeing Spot in This Area

The town where this anime's characters live is modeled after Minobu-cho, a town at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The town is renowned for the Minobusan Kuonji temple, known for its gorgeous cherry blossoms, and for the nature surrounding the town, which enchants visitors with wonderful seasonal landscapes. When you visit the town, be sure to visit Lake Motosu, a constituent feature of the world's cultural heritage. The lake is also where the whole story of this anime begins. There, the grandeur of natural landscapes should overwhelm you. The "Mt. Fuji upside down," depicted on the corresponding plaque, is just one of such landscapes.
