Yowamushi Pedal

Sakamichi is a teenage boy who for the sake of saving his pocket money, travels from his home located in Sakura, Chiba Prefecture, to the sacred place of subculture, Akihabara in Tokyo, on every weekend by bicycle. Because of his unintentionally trained cycling skill, he becomes a member of Sohoku High School Bicycle Club. With the goal of competing against rival Hakone Academy’s Manami Sangaku at an hill climb bike race, he trains hard with his teammates. This is a teen school sports drama about a group of high school boys who dedicate their lives to road bicycle racing.
