LAID-BACK CAMP series

Nadeshiko Kagamihara, a high school girl, moved to Yamanashi from another prefecture, Shizuoka. After settling down in her new town, one day she visited Lake Motosu to enjoy fine views of Mt. Fuji. On her way to the lake, however, she grew exhausted and fell asleep. After waking up to find out the night had already set in, she met with Rin Shima, a girl who loves camping alone. Later, she found out Rin was her schoolmate. The camper kept the heroine, who experienced the fun of camping, safe. This encounter led Nadeshiko to join her school’s The Outdoor Exploration Club (“OEC”). There, she enjoyed camping with circle members like Chiaki Ohgaki, Aoi Inuyama, and others, while building up her friendship with Rin. This is a story of an outdoor girl living in Minobu.

Situated in the eastern part of the Kofu Basin, Yamanashi City produces a variety of fruits throughout the year. In addition to orchards, there are many nature-rich spots in the city. Amongst these, Shimizu Valley can be enjoyed by beginner trekkers as it is relatively easy to walk through. In Shimizu Valley, there are waterfalls of various sizes, but the famous Ichinokama Falls, a “greater waterfall” known for its 21m drop, is a must-see.
