A Few Moments of Cheers

High school student Kanata Asaya was absorbed in the production of a music video. One night, while searching the streets for a motif for a music video his friend had asked him to make, he came across a woman performing live on the street in the rain, and was moved by the way she sang, pouring out her emotions through her voice.

“I want to make a music video for this song. This is the song I’ve been waiting for.”
The next morning, he tells his best friend, Daisuke Tonosaki, about his passion. He is astonished to see the new teacher standing at the front of the classroom. The person there is Yu Orie, the musician who moved his heart the night before.

Kanata begins making things, and uses the joy of making things as a source of energy to move forward.

Yu gives up on making things, and walks down a different path because of the pain of making things.

What will the works they create bring to each of them?

The script is by Jukki Hanada, who worked on “Love Live!” and “A Place Further than the Universe,” and the film was created by three members of the video production team “Hurray!,” POPREQ, Ohajiki and Magotsuki, and is set in the Kanazawa and Hakui areas. It’s a life-size youth drama about “making things.”
