『The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya』Series

Back in the 2000s, there was a fad of ”lightweight novel animations”, and this was one of its leading works. The original novel’s author, Nagaru Tanigawa, was born in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, and this is a science fiction story of a school of another world situated in Nishinomiya and its vicinity. A character named “Kyon” entered a high school there, and accidentally came to talk to an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind person in the school, Haruhi Suzumiya. Haruhi insisted that Kyon should join her “Haruhi Suzumiya’s Team To Make the World Way More Exciting”, commonly known as “Team SOS”. The team consisted of members from outer space, those from the future, those with psychic abilities, and other extraordinary beings. Thus, Kyon entered the extraordinary world of Haruhi.
