This anime is set in the city of Kanonji in western Kagawa Prefecture, Shikoku, a region abundant with lettuce and iriko dried baby sardines. Famous tourist attractions include Fudasho Temple 68 and 69 of the Shikoku Pilgrimage ―― Jinnein and Kannonji Temple ―― and Ibukijima Island.
