Himi City Shiokaze Gallery (Fujiko Fujio Ⓐ Art Collection)

The gallery is packed with original drawings and reproductions by Fujiko Fujio A,

a master of the Japanese manga genre who was born in the city, as well as an experience corner. Don’t miss the panels introducing his masterpieces such as “Ninja Hattori-kun” and “Kaibutsu-kun“, the corner that recreates the legendary “Tokiwa-so Room 14” where Fujiko A lived after moving to Tokyo, and the corner that displays articles and episodes that Fujiko A wrote during his time as a newspaper reporter. There are also attractions for parents and children to enjoy, such as the “Photo Spot BAR MANOSU”, where you can sit next to “Moguro Fukuzo” and enjoy taking photos pretending to be a character from the manga, and the “Digital Manga Screen”, where you can have an interesting experience of entering the world of manga. The goods corner sells charms, stickers, postcards and other items with “Ninja Hattori-kun” designs, making them perfect souvenirs.
