SHIKIZAKURA

High school student Miwa Kakeru is caught up in a battle between a mysterious organization and the “Oni”, who appear from the other world and eat people.
The only thing that can protect people from the “Oni” is the “Yoroi”, a powered suit that combines ancient secret arts and the latest technology. By chance, Kakeru gets into the “Yoroi” and decides to fight the “Oni” in order to protect “Myojin Oka”, a priestess who is destined to save the world.
Past and future, this world and the other world, thoughts and wishes interact in this heroic action adventure!

Toyota City, in Aichi Prefecture, is also known as the “City of Cars”. It is famous throughout Japan as an industrial city, but there are also places where beautiful scenery can be enjoyed, such as Korankei and Matsudaira-go. Matsudaira-go in particular is the birthplace of the Matsudaira clan, from which Tokugawa Ieyasu came. The Matsudaira Toshogu Shrine in Matsudaira-go is dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu and Matsudaira Chikauji, the founder of the Matsudaira clan. The ceiling, which is adorned with 108 lacquer paintings depicting seasonal flowers and plants found in the Matsudaira area, painted in 2015 as a 400-year memorial project for Tokugawa Ieyasu, is amazing. Within the grounds of the shrine there is the ‘Ubuyu-no-ido’, which is said to have been used by Prince Ieyasu for his first bath, and is said to be beneficial for longevity and easy childbirth.
