<Introduction>
“A cappella,” “High school girls,” and “Inferiority complex”
A cappella is a style of music using the voices of several singers solely as instruments. It places prime importance on harmony and communication to create a rich sound just by the overlapping of voices. Featuring a cappella, this music project depicts youth and the everyday life of high school girls alongside the development of voice actors who join the project as beginners.
<Plot>
Uta Komaki is a first-year high school student.
There are many things she is not good at.
What she likes most is singing.
When starting high school, Uta tries to join the pop music club with the dream of leading an ordinary teenage life, but fails to do so due to her timidity.
In disappointment, Uta encounters “a cappella,” a kind of music performed solely by human voices.
Uta and other girls, who can relate to each other only by overlapping their voices in a cappella, discover the awkwardness of their youth—This is our youth, even if it’s not brilliant!
