Satsuki Amamiya, a member of the Photography Club of her high school, has been feeling down since the graduation of her beloved President of the Club. With encouragement from An Kiriyama, another member, Satsuki makes up her mind to dedicate herself to the Club once again.

To get back into the swing of things, Satsuki purchases a 360-degree camera in an online auction, but it is not delivered to her. An investigates the seller and discovers that they live very close to their high school.

Satsuki and A visit the seller’s address, only to find a candy shop there.
In the candy shop, they meet a manga artist, Haruno Akiyama, who asks them to be models for her manga characters.
The Photography Club is integrated with the Cinema Club into the “Cine-photo Club” as Sakurako Shikishima, a member of the Cinema Club, joins the groups, and the “Cine-photo Club” starts helping Haruno with research for her manga.

The original work was created by Afro, who is fueling the camping boom with his famous manga “Laid-Back Camp,” which was adapted into both an anime series and a live-action drama.
For this anime adaptation, the up-and-coming animation studio Soigne joined forces with Aniplex and Houbunsha, which combined together to release “Hidamari Sketch,” “Bocchi the Rock!” and other various animation works to the market.
This slice-of-life anime depicts the beautiful scenery of Kofu and the surrounding areas in Yamanashi, capturing the everyday life of high school girls using 360-degree panoramic cameras, makeshift drones and camera-equipped kites, as well as other various photographic techniques.
